
Loren Krane, PhD
Loren Krane is a psychologist who has been active in community-based mental health projects in San Francisco for the past twenty years, Loren did his post-doctoral training at the SF Veterans Administration Medical Center and has worked primarily with communities exposed to trauma and violence, including veterans, torture survivors, refugees, war veterans, police, emergency personnel and survivors of natural disasters. He is currently on the staff at San Francisco General Hospital where he provides supervision, training and mental health services to veterans, refugees, and victims of inner-city violence. He is Clinical Professor, Department of Psychiatry, UCSF School of Medicine, and works as a consultant clinical coordinator of the Coming Home Project's psychotherapist cohort.
