Part of "Treating the Invisible Wounds of War: Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans, Families and Care Providers" series, a collaboration among the Coming Home Project, UCSF Health Effects of War Grand Rounds, and UCTV.
Spirituality is an overlooked but critical dimension of any program that helps veterans and their families face the visible and invisible injuries of war. In this program Richard Miller Ph.D. and Lt Col Steve Torgeson, a Chaplain at Travis AFB, present leading-edge work on recognizing, addressing and mobilizing spirituality to assist veterans and families in healing war-related trauma.
